In the German state Baden-Württemberg, the goal for 2021 was to have an average response time of 15 minutes, a goal they subsequently wished to lower with further 3 minutes. In Baden-Württemberg they wish to improve the entire prehospital process, as they believe that the time from the emergency call is received, to the time the injured is in the hospital, should not extend 60 minutes.
The goal to lower the response time is quite common in the German states, as both Bayern and Sachsen also wish to accomplish an average response time of 12 minutes.
With the implementation of Green Wave, Germany will be able to maintain its response times and maybe even improve them. With Green Wave, it is possible to improve the response time for paramedics, firefighters, and police workers.
